The Ultrasonics are cool, I put some in a Valley Arts a few years ago. Decidedly non-vintage and sounds a bit scoopy.

I wish I could put a switcheroo + blower switch on every guitar I own. It's the most practical switching scheme I've used.

I dont know where he got them, but there used to be lots of them floating around german Ebay. NOS stuff for like 25 bucks a pop.

I sourced them individually used. They were only made for 6 months in late 1988, perfect for the ‘89 Hamer.

That was exactly my thinking with the Valley Arts I had mine in, it was made in ´89 and originally sold thru the german dealer. Just the right vibe somehow

I've posted this before, but I've been using an Ultrasonic humbucker for over 20 years. I've had an ebay search in place for that long, and only one single coil ever came up. Because I'm a moron, I passed on it. Congrats on getting a full set!
