Make blanket black and white statements especially about genres of music you have absolutely no experience with.

Argue points to the death with no clips to back up your point.

If someone asks for a clip, tell them the clips are coming (no clips are coming) to get them off your back. If that doesn't work, tell them you have no way to make clips. All else fails, just ignore the clips thing.

Repeat nonsense you heard from your favorite TGP expert whose aprin strings you just cant stop clutching.

Well, I try not to keep beefs with others here going but I don't like when people try to tell me my business when they aren't in the ring doing it themselves. For the sake of keeping some peace I'd rather not name names.

Well, I try not to keep beefs with others here going but I don't like when people try to tell me my business when they aren't in the ring doing it themselves. For the sake of keeping some peace I'd rather not name names.

It’s kinda sad that we just can’t come to these forums and just respect others opinions.

I played out semi-professionally for 28 years doing opening acts, festivals, dancehalls,,etc

I’d come to the forums to interact with all sorts of musicians during this time.

I never tried to make anyone feel less than or tell them what they should or shouldn’t like because I might have more experience than them.

You can always learn something about gear or from someone even if they’re not as experienced as you.

I’ve always tried to give my opinions on stuff I have firsthand experience with, but never tell anyone they’re a retard cause then don’t agree with me.

Myself, I was listening to some rock guys saying their favorite classic rock heros also qualify as blues guitarists. Then one of them suggested a jazz legend couldn't play blues. I got booted once from strat-talk and once from TDPRI because of crap like that and to my discredit I'm not patient enough yet to endure that level of brain rot here at my favorite guitar forum.

I’ve been banned from TGP before too.

Some guy attacked me because I was giving my opinions on a thread about live guitar tones .

Supposedly this guy is revered on TGP because he’s some Jazz guy who writes guitar books,

I defended myself and really gave it to him and I got the boot.

He thought I was some kind newby bedroom player with no real world music experience.

Then I said if you’re a REAL musician, then you should be able to to sing.

I kept on pushing it in the thread to show proof that he can sing and just not play guitar.

The moderators who are his buddies, then banned me for treating him like that on the forum.

Even though he attacked me first, I got banned.

Anyway, I don’t engage like that anymore.

If someone takes a shot at me in a thread, I just get out of it.
