Ya'll are making me real nostalgic with all these TNT guitar clips with your Axe FXs'........Any chance you guy's might be able to throw up some Akira Takasaki classic LOUDNESS clips! :rock:

Loudness' drummer Munetaka died late last year. Just found out about it :cry: I saw Loudness play live at the Starland Ballroom about 3 years ago. One of my favorite bands and Akira is an influence of mine.
 
Became an instant Loudness/Akira fan when I got their Thunder in the East cassette back in the day. :lol: :LOL:

His playing was like an encyclopedia of riffs/techniques in use by all the hottest players back then, all melded into one.
 
Akira is normally how I demo any tone clips :D My favorite tones (and playing) from him are Thunder in the East, Soldier of Fortune, and 1992's self titled album.

It sucks because unless you stumble across some info on Loudness online, nobody I talk to has heard of him. He's easily in my top tier of fav guitarists.

Did I miss a Le Tekro clip with an AXe FX? All the Le tekro clips I've seen so far have been with Marshall amps.

Akira kicks ass. Been a huge fan for many years. I remember listening my Thunder in the East cassette over and over!

You're right. I was assuming that one of the clips I listened to was an Axe FX for some reason, but turns out it was just some little marshall combo. :doh:

Oh well, I'd still love to hear if the Axe FX can cop those old Loudness tones................ :confused:
