Dont wish too hard. They may end up moving the team like they did with Oakland.

My dad told me stories about the 50s and why we lost the dodgers.
Was a political up in your face move to spite the city that didn't want to build a new stadium.

He still wont watch BB over that

Mets almost blew an 7 run lead last night with 2 outs in the 9th
Unbelievable. They won by 1 run with 2 outs and 2 braves on base when Smith struck out

They should have pinched hit for him.
He was never any good even with us


Im afraid we'll lose the mets if they cant turn this AA ball shit around

Payroll too high with no return
Stadium is empty. Theyre offering $5 Sears just to get asses in there

I haven't been to a game in almost 4 years
Not worth the expense to watch AA ball

True but I doubt the team would move, they would be giving up the OC Market and a part of a SoCal Market and a lot of the Franchise value is tied to that.


Fans just want a new owner and new people to run the place..... They are just tired of the owner and the same people who have ran it under Arte and destroyed the team.

I feel it.
We been dreaming for new Jets and Giants ownership for many years.

Im not sure Steve Cohen knows what the fuck hes doing with a team that plays on Tom Seaver way.

He came on board with the promise of pumping 100s millions into players and guaranteed us a WS title within 3 yrs.

He only made good on part 1 and that amounts to nothing
 
Greg is an idiot.... Bobby Witt Jr has double the WAR Alvarez has and NVM the Astros are still outside of a Wild Card Spot..... Nvm at this pace Pete Crow-Armstrong is set to outpace Shohei in WAR as well..... Under his definition only those in winning/playoff teams could win the MVP but thankfully that ain't how the rules work for the NL/AL hardware.......

There is no clear-cut definition of what Most Valuable means. It is up to the individual voter to decide who was the Most Valuable Player in each league to his team. The MVP need not come from a division winner or other playoff qualifier.


The rules of the voting remain the same as they were written on the first ballot in 1931:


1. Actual value of a player to his team, that is, strength of offense and defense.


2. Number of games played.


3. General character, disposition, loyalty and effort.


4. Former winners are eligible.


5. Members of the committee may vote for more than one member of a team.
 
I mean a lot of the problem with the Yankees here is they are trying to replicate Judge which you just can't......


I'm doing so they are stuck trying to do something they can't..... Striking out, swinging for the fences....


What they need to lean into is in what they have..... And what they can do vs what they don't have and they can't do :dunno:

Hell even the Red Sox suck ass too....


It's a battle for last place..... And the next top 3-5 draft picks at this point. Gotta win somewhere even if it means by losing..... At this point may as well lose more games and the more the better :dunno:
