And it gets more interesting....... While Sho has a great OPS for the month of June Petes is even greater..... And this isn't even counting the Defensive Value Pete brings..... Also when we look at Shos ERA for the season it's not bad at 1.50+ but when we look at his ERA for the month of June and the trajectory that is taking.... Don't forget it's been sometime since Sho hit this few HRs at this time in the season in his career......

The 2026 NL MVP race becomes that much more interesting 🤔

Just like I said...... And the Rangers take top spot in the AL West with the Astros not far behind looking at a Wild Card spot..... While the Mariners are on the way out......

Who knows who wins NL MVP but one thing is for certain for the NL 2026 D-BOY/F-BOY......

Bobby Witt Jr is taking 2026 AL MVP this season...... And at the moment Yordan Alvarez is the fave given betting odds......

The-Kids Flashbacks.......

June 9th, 2026.

Amongst 5 players with a BsR of 3.7 or higher Bobby Witt Jr ranks 2nd in MLB, 1st in the AL with a BsR of 4.2 and leads in the following categories amongst these few select top 5 BsR players :

Def : 15.0

Off : 11.7 (2nd in AL)

SLG : .456 (1st in AL)

OBP : .354 (2nd in AL)

BABIP : .322 (2nd in AL)

Clutch : 1.27

+WPA : 6.71

WAR : 3.8

Making Bobby Witt Jr the most complete Baseball player of 2026 and perhaps of our decade and maybe of all time......

He can hit, he has got the power, hes got the legs for speed, hes got the eyes and hes got the arm to field, he's got the strength..... And he does it all above average and makes it look easy.....

He has got all the 5 tools....

He is the complete Baseball Player, well rounded, balanced and consistent ..... Setting the tone for what AL MVP in 2026 looks like.

Projected for 10+ WAR and a 30+/30+ season.....

2026 MLB Gems Bobby Witt Jr/Gemini.

Soto is getting on base and consistent.

18 bombs with 38 RBI

What does that say?

The first 3 guys aren't getting on base
Cant believe the season is almost half over

Mets something like 14 back.
They cant recover from that

Even if they get bases loaded no out they cant score

Alvarez is a major fucking problem.
He bats 7th and the 4, 5 and 6 guys who get on base he cant drive them home

He cant run and cant throw any one out from behind the plate

But theyre betting the franchise on him like they did with Dominick Smith.
I know but for me the thing with Soto no matter how good he is all the money spent on him given his production which is great but not worth what he is producing or will produce could have gone somewhere else..... Nvm Soto has never won an MVP or most likely ever will..... So why does he cost so damn much given his production and actual value relative to his production.....

The Mets could have gotten the same or more WAR for the the same or less money and overall probably would have had a better overall more balanced and consistent team for the same or less money. Same goes for Bo Bichette as good as he is, its just not worth the money when such players mentioned could be reconstructed in the aggregate with other pieces relative to the WAR they bring for the same or often times less money.

You just get a better ROI that way and a better team too that wins games and that is what one wants at the end of the day.

When I see players aside from their name or their face or production is how many wins can I get out of them and is that enough such players in a Team to get those wins to buy a ticket to Postseason. Players aren't the name or their production in that sense or even their number on their jersey so much as their Team is a sum of their parts and the sum of their parts, the players, decides how many wins a Team will produce.

It's not all about winning in that sense or wins but sometimes more often than not it very damn well is unfortunately :dunno:

Seems like the Angels are at a fork in the road...... And yeah the paths are very different.... But I think it's time to blow it all up and everyone and everything is for sale..... The wind feels different.....

They are getting ready to sell the team finally too.... And Arte looks to be ready and wants to give a clean slate to the next owner and yeah from Soriano to Adell and even Neto and Shanual and Urena..... Soler...... And even Trout..... It's all up for sale and the Angels are going into a major rebuild IMO..... You can feel it in the air.....

It's sad when this happens, and a team breaks apart like the Blue Jays kind of did when Bo Bichette left...... But yeah at this scale..... In a major sell off...... Its the worst for home fans..... And it's tough but we all know it must be done.... And yeah these are a good group of guys but it just has to be done at this point.....

This is just terrible...... It can get dangerous out in the field....... Here is to a speedy recovery for Jazz 🪊

Speaking of he Blue Jays and Bo today...... I mean yeah..... It's sad..... That team was amazing..... But times change and that is just reality.....

Its heartbreaking to see a team broken..... Or when a player leaves..... But such is the way of the seasons and the way of Baseball and it helps you remember just why you love it so much and the love one has for a player or players and a team means that much more as hard as it is...... Things may change and the seasons may change but the memories will always be there......

The-Kids Flashbacks...... I gave it my all.

I beat the "experts".......

At MLB/ESPN/MLB on Fox/The-Ringer/Fangraphs at their own game........

And while they think they are matching me....... pretty much just copying and pasting my methodology based on the WAR-Ratio that I developed......
they may be using the same deck/hand as me but they don't know how to really use it or how to play the cards that I invented and developed to their full potential.........

________________________________________________________

7 out of 12 of my picks are postseason ready vs 6 out 12 of the "experts"....... And actually made Postseason and October Baseball.

58.333% of my preseason picks made Postseason and October Baseball overall out of 12 vs 50% of the "experts" at MLB/ESPN/MLB on Fox/The-Ringer top 12 preseason picks and Power Rankings...... Also demolished PECOTA and their preseason projections for the season which only got 5 out of top 12 picks right at 41.666% vs my 7 out of top 12 picks at 58.333%......

I beat the "experts" in 162 games of the season......

At MLB/ESPN/MLB on Fox/The-Ringer to PECOTA this season on every level *_*

The Kids Real MLB 2025 Top 12 Power Rankings Update March 14th 2025.....

Based off Total Team WAR, Starting Pitching rotations projections and the WAR-Ratio as a baseline along with other factors and considerations for teams with most likelihood and highest likelihood of making postseason for 2025.......

My Rankings are more accurate and to a lower margin of error when it came to my Regular Season and Post Season Power Rankings in the 2023 season vs the "experts"......they actually reflected performance by teams better than MLB/ESPN/Verlander/The-Ringer.... as good as the "experts" in 2024 and I don't have a full department of people and "professionals" or "experts" like Ken Rosenthal running around a floor of 500 people and a nationwide network of hundreds if not thousands of reporters and journalist..........

It's just me, my WAR-Ratio method and other factors and considerations, basic stats available to everyone and a little bit of calculus along with my Ti-84+ calculator.......thats it......you heard it here first.......

Gaze into the crystal ball........

Pray for Xavier Taylor...... Poor kid is still in a coma after getting hit by a ball in the throat..... He is stabilizing but still in critical condition.

1000000736.png

Going back to the Blue Jays and the Angels or the Mets here and just teams in general.....

When you construct a team or teams are constructed many times the GM or Front Office just see a statistical model built on data essentially....... But we all know there is more to it than that..... Especially after this season.

Many IMO make the mistake of simply trying to get so many RBI, HR, H, Ks, IP etc etc.... and forget about the Soul.

And you just can't buy Soul with money.

Call it a "Ghost in the Shell" of the analytical models Front Offices can't really account for or explain....

Or the "Soul of a Team" that no amount of Data could capture.... Money just don't buy that....

Money just don't buy Soul :dunno:

DeRo breaking down the game half way into the season...... Lots of great points and spot on especially with the recent slump of the Yankees.......and yeah the Dodgers vs the field.....

I mean I've called Contreras a raging animal before and he can be a fucking lunatic...... But I mean all the shit he's going through with what happened in Venezuela one can understand but at the same time this ain't a way to act and represent your country.....

I mean I get and we can all put ourselves in his shoes but at the same time it's now more than ever that he has to set an example in his behavior and he has to realize it's not about him and he represents something more than him...... And he should set a better example in that sense, don't mean to talk down to him either in that sense but yeah someone needs to communicate that to him that his behavior represents his country right now and he should represent his country in the best way he can by setting a better example.

DeRo saying it how it is and I feel for Contreras and what happened in Venezuela but right now he has to set a better example for his country and the people of Venezuela.
