Have you done your take on a Timmy yet?
actually ..... no .... plenty of schematics out there too ...Have you done your take on a Timmy yet?
not shipping to Canada ..... sorry .What about us Canadian folk? I'd like a ts-9 or 808 style circuit with a sweep able midrange control a bright switch and a bass cut switch. Is all that possible? Say the midrange can center from 500hz to 1.5 or 2k, something like that?? Or just make that option on a 3 way toggle. 700, 1k and 1.5k,??
The B7K is the same with more eq options. It just replaces the tone knob with a 4 knob tone stack. You could make a B6K with just a three band eq.I can only find a schematic for the DarkGlass B3K .......
Hmmmm that could be a good one .... I will look for a schematicHow about a Barber Gain Changer?
has the grunt switch ..... I might do that one just so I have a prototype to mess with ..... I'm in the midst of getting some Bass gear .... looking at Amps nowDoes the B3K circuit have the "Grunt" switch or is it the earlier version?
See if you can find any older SWR SM heads or cabs usedhas the grunt switch ..... I might do that one just so I have a prototype to mess with ..... I'm in the midst of getting some Bass gear .... looking at Amps now
I want to be able to test this stuff out in at least a mediocre rig ....

funny you mentioned that ..... I've been looking for this SWR Head that I tried out in GC literally 20 years ago ..... it had really decent built in effects .... looked like a rack unit ... I can't for the life of me remember what it was called .... but I'm 99% sure it was a SWR ...See if you can find any older SWR SM heads or cabs used
Was it the SWR Mo Bass?funny you mentioned that ..... I've been looking at the Mesa Subway's too
I had a StingRay all picked out ..... for a really decent price .... slept on it and it was gone the next morning ....Did you end up finding a bass?
For amps, just get a Fender Rumble combo. They're cheap and they sound pretty good. If you're just testing circuits, you don't need an SVT stack.
Either way, let me know on that one. Regardless of how this goes, I'm in on a bass drive of some sort.
Shit !!!!!! Yeah !!!! that's it !!!!!!!!Was it the SWR Mo Bass?
No they were badass, they just looked so different at the time from the rest of the SWR lineup. They are cool amps.Shit !!!!!! Yeah !!!! that's it !!!!!!!!
It doesn't suck does it ?? Cause man ... I had a friggin blast playing that thing
Now I really want one ...........No they were badass, they just looked so different at the time from the rest of the SWR lineup. They are cool amps.
