After an incredible build experience, the Henric Hermansson Simms-Watts is here. This amp and builder have far exceeded any expectations. After owning just about everything out there, Camerons-Fortins-Wizards-the whole bit, I can't believe some young guy in Sweden of all places captures the sound in my head and delivers it to me in like 2 months. Yes I'm honeymooning, and I don't give a damn, it rocks  Here's a quick clip of ch.2 running 3 gain stages with 1 clipping stage on top. The recording came out pretty compressed, there exists no camera that can convey the brutality of this amp and I haven't even touched channel 3 yet.

That thing sounds pissed! I like it...reminds me of a tight fortin! Congrats on the new amp!

good playing and killer tone, yup reminds me a lil of fortin

Thanks fellas  Channel 2 is intentionally Fortin-esque in tone. I sent Henric clips of my old Cali and of some other notable modded Marshalls that I'm into, he nailed it

Very cool. What it end up costing with shipping and all if you don't mind?

Super fucking cool. That clip does sound very similar to your old Fortin Cali clip. Looking forward to hearing more of that beast.

Thanks dude! I tend to sound the same thru just about any amp these days, it's more about feel for me now. I'll mix it up a bit on ch3 and drop a clip on it soon

:rawk:

Bad ass bro. I've got to check it out some time. What bridge pickup you've got in that Les Paul?

Thanks guys, this is an LP studio with an Aldrich straight in and through a Cameron 4x12 with CL80's and H30's.

Awesome to see the first Hermansson amp in the US! Rock on!

the Simms Watts I played through was awesome enough already, can't imagine how badass this one must be

I am totaly diggin this clip that amp sounds like a box of badassness....

To show how versatile this thing is, here's a classic rock clip:

Looks evil, wicked, and Frankenstein-like.

Sounds wicked, evil and montsrous. Serious KERRANG for those folks wondering what KERRANG was/is in your first clip. Thanks so much for posting this - beautiful amp, very unconventional and I love it
