Hey guys! Made a thread about this a few weeks ago, but she is finally here so I figured I would take some more pics and post up my initial thoughts...

First off, I can say without hesitancy that this is one of the best guitars I had ever played... I have an issue saying "best" because I have played some awesome guitars, the top being my personal PRS, and a BFR JP6... it's hard to be better than those... but I have no problem saying this guitar is just as good... they somehow managed to get the action laughably low, but there is no string buzz, bending isn't an issue at all, no dead spots... nothing, it's crazy... normally there is some type of sacrifice for incredibly low action, not the case here at all...

I love the contrast in the woods, my favorite part aesthetically of the guitar is where the neck joins the body in between the neck and top horn, just the way all the wood joins and contrasts is absolutely gorgeous to me...

If I have one thing I have to gush about other than the guitars looks and playability... it's the pickups... I went with a calibrated set of Nailbombs... they are unlike ANYTHING that I have ever played before, they are SO articulate, have this midrange grind to them, and a clarity that I just have really never experienced before, and I can't get enough of them... goes without saying the clean tones are incredible as well, they seem to be less output then I am used to, which would make sense as to why I am digging the clarity and definition...

There really isn't a whole lot to say at this point that won't sound like more gushing... I couldn't be any happier, period...

Here's some more pics!

Nice! How does she play?

Congrats on that one.....

It joins the ranks of the VERY few guitars that I consider to "play themselves"... if that make any sense... it's completely effortless... joy to play...

Cool to hear. I have a couple of those Skervy buns in the oven. First one supposed to be done next month.

Love the design and spec. Shame that its European and costs more for someone in the Us , but somebody Has to be on the other side of the water right!?!

So about how much does Something like that run? I looked on the website but I didn't see any pricing
Info.

Kit, that is without a doubt one of the classiest Skervs I've seen yet. HNGD bro. Where's the clips?

First of all thanks fellas! I would actually have to agree about the classiest Skerv comment... I feel the exact same way...

As far as price, I suppose it's not big deal to post it because if you E-mail Skerv they will tell you themselves...

That's the best part about Skervesen, is the build time and the price... keep in mind, aside from a totally one-off style custom build, this guitar has all their "options" and is a bit more expensive... it's cost me $2,800 out the door...

Keep in mind the carved top and neck through is an extra 400 euros...

That means the normal Skervesens you see all over their Facebook page are really only about $2,200... shipping is 150 and only takes a couple days, they are by far the best priced custom guitars out there, bar none...

Any questions you guys are welcome to PM me...

And unfortunately I don't have SHIT to make clips right now... all I have hear is my little Line 6 practice amp and my Galaxy S3 phone... that won't make for much of a video, but if you guys really want one I suppose I can do one!!!

Buying in euro from Europe is not that big of an exchange. I found their prices to be very reasonable, compared to others throwing out bolt on All Parts guitars these days. I think about 1900 euro gets you the Raptor in a bolt on and 2200 gets you a set neck or neck thru. Shipping to the US is about 100 euro. Maciek at Skervesen is great with email communications and is willing to help you spec out exactly what you want. Good folks to deal with.

But, if you get into the UK market, get ready for a big sting. The GBP to the USD conversion is still shit. You will pay in pounds about the same as dollar. Times 1.6 you are gonna get burned.

Alright Stein... you win, can't believe I'm gonna make a clip with a Line 6 Practice amp

...will get one together tomorrow night and update the thread!

Dear Kit,

Stop being a lefty. How am I supposed to come in here and congratulate you while secretly hoping you get sick of the guitar in two weeks and sell it to me? I have to come in here and genuinely congratulate you. That's just ridiculous. LOL.

HNGD ! A very nice axe.

Those polish builders are marvelous. I should have a nice NGD this summer too, from another builder.
