No, I'm saying it didn't seem to be a particluar concern of your's when the calls were going Detroit's way.
ratter made the comment about the refs being on the Wings side, which is a common rebuttal to a loss. Hence the yawn. I jokingly pointed out the six skaters being on the ice for an insanely long time to even the score. Lighten up, dude.

Well we can certainly agree on that. But I wouldn't worry about it either way. No way the Pens take 4 from Detroit.

I'll bet there are some puckered sphincters in Michigan right now.

GO PENS!!!

Gotta win game 4 or we're done for. Fluery needs to play amazing and Sid needs to score a goal for us to have a chance.

Well, both of these things happened and we won the game. Now we gotta go steal one in Detroit.

PENS FTMFW!!!!!!!

EDIT: And seriously, how fucking gorgeous was the passing that set up Tyler Kennedy's goal? Jesus.

Clearly the Wings are not the dominant force they were last year. Even when the Pens lost in the first two games the Wings got pushed around all night long. Osgood looks frustrated. The next game is in Detroit but the momentum is in Pittsburgh favor. If the Pens win Saturday it'll be the last game in Detroit until next season.

I gotta give Zetterberg credit as being the best defensive forward in the NHL by far. Nobody else in the league can shut down Sid like him. I've never seen anyone even come close. What a dickbag.

Zetterberg is very good but Crosby has gotten tons of chances through all four games. Would he have gotten even more without Zetterberg riding him? Yeah. But the lack of goals hasn't been for a lack of chances, IMO.

Great game by the Pens, but the suspension on Malkin being rescinded was fucking bullshit. The NHL has no balls when it comes to star players.

I still say Wings in 7.

They don't have any balls against any players. If Scott Walker didn't get suspended for what he did, Ovechkin for what he did to Gonchar, Kunitz for what he did to Varlamov... I don't know how you could suspend Malkin for a scrum around the net. What he did was far milder than any of those other situations.

I actually WANT Zetterberg back on Crosby. It's taking Zetterberg and Lidstrom to slow Sid down and he is still getting chances. That opens things up for the other guys.

BTW, how sweet was it on Staal's shorty. :D That was "God on skates" hisself (Lidstrom) on "D" along with Rafalski. I mean, between the two of them I think they have like 136 Stanley Cup rings. ;) Staal made them look stupid.

I think we'll see how hurt Datsyuk really is on Saturday. If he doesn't play then, I'd be surprised to see him at all in the series. If they play him, who do they sit? Helm? Boy that kid Helm is impressive. I started noticing him in the Anaheim series. He'd fit right in on the Pens.

Best of three series and anything can happen. I'm still holding to my prediction of Pens in 7 because mathematically the odds of Detroit losing 4 in a row are astronomical. If we win Saturday I DO think we could wrap it up at home on Tuesday.

However this turns out, we have been treated to a great series. That's some good hockey.

Gotta give props for Pittsburgh's beautiful 4-2 goal (or was it the 3-2 goal) where they made pass-pass-shot combo across the ice. Nice...

Ville Leino. Valtteri Filppula is Datsyuk's replacement and Leino is filling in Filppula's spot. Leino gets pushed out and Filppula gets bumped down. We really needed Datsyuk last night. Amazing hockey by the Pens. This is still in line with my Wings in six prediction, but goddamn we are not looking good right now. If this goes to seven games then this will probably be the best Stanley Cup for hockey fans in recent memory.

Sid makes passes like that all the time. That's just what he's all about. Making plays and setting guys up. The kid is just ridiculous.

Malkin was excellent throughout game four and Crosby's perfect one-timer pass was an awesome goal!
If Fleury can hold it down they have a chance...will be very tough to win one in Detroit.

Its been are petty entertaining series thus far. Both teams doing what they should do which is win at home. This is weird that within the game itself there are momentum swings where one team dominates over the other for stretches at a time and the other team later counters...sort like runs in the NBA.

In the first 2 games Osgood was the difference maker, in the next 2 games in Pittsburgh, Fleury was the difference maker. Both teams in all four games had some good scoring opportunities.

Special teams have been key to Pittsburgh on the PP while the PK has been horrible for Detroit.

I didn't expect a quick series out of this. Pittsburgh is a better team this year playing good team D and pose a good challenge for Detroit. They really shud them down in game 3 in the second period, Detroit was sloppy with unforced turnovers but they also had a lot of forced turnovers so you have to give Pittsburgh credit for playing well in the neutral zone.

This one could go the distance folks. Detroit needs Pavel Datsyuk back, whether he scores or not he's a Hart candidate and Selke trophy winner so that could help slow Malkin down who has been on fire...he's the Conn Smythe winner if it was handed out today imho..

Lets Go Red Wings!!!!

The Pens have completely melted down. They aren't even trying. Nothing but dumb penalties.

I just tuned in....damn! Those two penalties at the end of the period were frustration penalties. I hadn't noticed that Fleury got chased. Rafalski scored! Go Michigan home-boy! Glad Pavel is finally back. I really want to see how this plays out with both teams at full-strength.

SHUT. OUT.

I have no real context to post this picture but it makes me laugh.

Let's go Red Wings.

Pathetic effort. I don't think I've ever seen them play worse than that. What a fucking joke.

Woof, that was ugly. From watching Pittsburgh throughout the playoffs, I don't think they have the stones to come back from a thrashing like that. Detroit's a TEAM, the Penguins are a handful of superstars, and that's the difference.

That was a beat down, no two ways around it. We'll see what kind of character this team has now.
