It once occurred to me that if you could isolate each string and send that signal to its own amp, then blend all 6 amps together, you could probably get some extremely clear sounding distorted chords.

I wonder if you could do that with pickups like those.

I'm guessing he has different total winds per coil, so he can adjust volume per string and make things more even signal wise. doing something like adjusting pole piece height to control this might change some other things that people don't want (and normal coil around magnet usually don't have that ability)...maybe. IDK. 97% of guitar stuff is audiophile horseshit.

It would be cool to have a guitar with six or seven 1/4" jacks on it and vol/tone controls for each string. You need this.
