I really enjoyed HCAF (harmony central amp forum) back in the day. There were some really, really funny guys there. Like prime time comedy writer level funny and they could tear guys a new asshole like a surgeon.

I never ventured into the 'open' forum (can't remember the name) but it was even wilder. Lol. Hard to imagine.

I remember those days too but I actually think this place has the better members on average, by quite a difference. Maybe we are just older and wiser now, lol.

There are several members from that old board here now. Prior to the cleanup that happened this place was full of spam and people doxxing each other. I stopped in during covid thinking I would join but decided against it because it was that big of a mess. I was a mod at a non-music site that had few rules....it turned into a nightmare. I checked back a couple years later and it had been cleaned up enough that I decided to join. Be glad that most of the members here are actually quality human beings in spite of the fact that pretty much no one agrees on anything, lol.

I may regret being open but honestly, I pretty much agree with you and I could have a steak and beer with anyone here and have a good time shooting the shit.

I have fun here. I'm not taking any of the debate seriously.
 
@JDs Couch since you are from New Zealand, have you ever watch the show “This is not my life”? A show from New Zealand. Lasted one season but it was a great thriller!
