My band finally decided to delve into the world of in-ear monitors. None of us have ever owned them or even tried them so this is a whole new adventure.

I got the XVive U45 and Xvive earphones and so far I really like it. Our first practice with them is this weekend so we'll see how it goes.

At shows, we always use earplugs because it is so loud and don't always have the best monitors, etc, so should be able to hear better regardless.

I'm about to build my third IEM rig. The band I just joined had purchased an IEM rig, but hadn't hooked it all up yet. I'm in the process of configuring the rig and making the breakout for FOH. They have an X32R, 4 Sennheiser wireless IEMs, and two Behringer MS8000s for Mic Splitters. I'm about to wire it all up and start using it too.

this is the company i discovered at NAMM and spec’ed out for our church when we migrated from floor wedges exclusively to hybrid floor and ears. everybody loved it. great sound quality, miunt to a mic stand and connect with cat 6 or dante, tons of channels and features, copy/paste your mix to another station on the system as a starting point for beginners, ambient mics and talkback mic built into the station. not cheap but the best i found.
