Music or not, that band is utter garbage and I'm willing to bet anything that you'll look back on it a few years from now and say " Holy shit i used to listen that that crap".

I don't particularly see my music taste changing too greatly in a while. As I see it, to change my musical tastes now would be to only narrow them since as is I listen to, if anything, far too much. And to narrow my musical tastes, is something I don't much see the point in.

Haha, well I'm only 19. My dad pretty much enjoys anything with some good guitar in it so he enjoys a lot of what I listen to. He got me into a lot of 70s prog and such.

The way I see it though, is that compared to others of my age and even older than my age, I am actually the mature one, because I have the mental capacity to accept such differing forms of music, while others simply stick to what they know in their own little box. I am constantly looking for new music, new bands, new genres etc, anything that may interest me or widen my tastes.

Heh, I just kind of got into them. I previous had The Iron Mask but that was it, I really liked it though. I just picked up Only Theatre of Pain and Catastrophe Ballet. I have yet to listen to any of the Valor stuff. Seems like quite the schism occurred when Valor took over the name. It's like wherever Valor is mentioned there are like 20 people screaming about how much Valor sucks.

i think it's weird when 2 bands have the same damn name. like disgorge (us) fukn roolz but i don't really dig disgorge (mex)...fukn weird shit.

Finding Incubus, now thats a fucking bitch. I don't want the shitty band, I want the death/thrash one!

Then again sometimes it leads you to finding another awesome band. Sabbat for instance. When I first looked up Sabbat I was trying to find the Japanese band but kept finding the British one, both are awesome bands though.

Well, as long as you like it then that's all that matters. But changing your taste in music isn't something that happens by choice usually or all at once.
