It's happened to me more than I care to admit. Always USPS. This Charvel has had 11 stops! When it finally got to Florida, it then went to Chicago!

My PRS got shipped USPS...yay. I have nothing but disdain for them and would love to see their higher ups jailed for their crimes against Americans.

I ordered replacement thumb screws for my OCD because I lost some. The package was in Cleveland on the 3rd, a mere half hour away, and now they're hoping I get then by the 13th. They might be in Ohio somewhere, I guess?

I would NEVER ship a guitar or amp USPS. They ALL have their moments, but USPS takes the cake.

That's nuts. This one had an initial expected delivery date of 5/2, last Saturday. It shipped on 4/28.

Same here with USPS
I sold a pedal on reverb.
Shipped from long Island to Phoenix.

Tracking had up in Buffalo, skimming the northern boarder through Cleveland, Finally made it to Chicago, St Louis, OKC, Santa Fe then finally AZ

I learned in kindergarten the shortest distance between 2 points is a straight line

Took 10 days when it should have only been 3

No wonder why they're broke

I had one go to Germany military base once because somehow the address got mixed up with an FPO AP address. It did eventually come back and get delivered. This was NOT a guitar, it was a pedal if I recall.

I know I've told you all why that is here before so I won't bring that up again, but I heard on the radio the other day someone, possibly the state of Missouri, has passed a law that's supposed to give some sort of accountability. That after finding about 600 pieces of mail just dumped in a parking lot in north St. Louis.

I don't use USPS for anything if I have a say in it. Always UPS. @klugster uses something called shipping pirate and it seems to lower the price quite a bit.

Pirate Ship. That's who I use and UPS is typically cheapest. I don't know why one would pay the much higher cost to ship a guitar USPS to begin with. They're crazy expensive on big packages and totally unreliable.

After a friend of mine who is a mail lady and another postal worker in a totally different situation both told me the same thing about what goes on in the sorting room at the downtown STL post office I would never ship anything important through USPS.

I was working in the street in front of the Robert A Young federal building in downtown St. Louis and around 2:30 when the place starts emptying out it's a vast sea of overweight black chicks. And that's no lie. The sorting room in all the major post offices are the same way. They on they sale phones all day, dog.

I always get the cheapest shipping option when I order from Redco Audio, which is usually USPS. Every single one leaves Connecticut, goes through Ohio to Indianapolis, and then comes back to Cleveland. At least that route is consistent.
