This guitar's been on a wild ride!

I know I've told you all why that is here before so I won't bring that up again, but I heard on the radio the other day someone, possibly the state of Missouri, has passed a law that's supposed to give some sort of accountability. That after finding about 600 pieces of mail just dumped in a parking lot in north St. Louis.

I don't use USPS for anything if I have a say in it. Always UPS. @klugster uses something called shipping pirate and it seems to lower the price quite a bit.
I use Pirate Ship for everything - really saves you some cash and you can select the carrier of your choice.

Someone once shipped me a Rectifier Recording preamp in a cardboard box from Australia using the Australian postal service and then India Post.

It arrived battered out of shape, bent and everything. I got most of the money back from the seller, I could never clawback the $800 I had to pay as customs duty.

So basically, the post is the same everywhere I guess.

Thankfully, those are distribution centers and that G will likely show up; it just got rerouted several times along the way. Good luck. Here's to hoping it shows up in one piece.

Yes, I'm sure everything will be just fine...

OUT FOR DELIVERY.png

I had one go to Germany military base once because somehow the address got mixed up with an FPO AP address. It did eventually come back and get delivered. This was NOT a guitar, it was a pedal if I recall.
I was once stationed overseas with a FPO address and had a guitar shipped out there ... Took over a month but it finally made it

Wtf that tracking history def takes the cake for complete incompetence.

Reminds me of the first Gibson LP I bought around 2008, the guy shipped it usps in its factory case. No box. Completely relying on its latches and packing tape to keep it secure 🤦🏻‍♂️ some how it arrived safely.

I deal with UPS, USPS and FedEx every day at work. Personally, I will not ship anything, regardless of value, with USPS or FedEx.
Just don't do it folks. Life is too short.
