That was awesome. I’ve never seen someone cover “Tell Me”… looks like fun to play. Wait playing was cool, but the sound was a bit mushy and not clear/sharp.

Killer player. I admittedly overlooked White Lion because I was into heavier stuff at the time. But what great songs and incredible playing from Vito.

Now I will relearn this stuff. I started about 30 yrs ago and haven't touched it since. Love Vito's stuff.

Smooth player. That is for sure.

I see vids like this and think "Yeah. I should learn that." Then realize that it is much harder than it appears when I try!

If only they had youtube since 1982' i'd be a legend.

I wouldn't say he nailed it but played it smoothly. This guy nails it...

I'm always amazed at the light touch the guys in this genre/era played with. I've never been able to get that light of an attach/style and still get 'out' what I need.

Nice job and great vids....gonna jam that album on the way to work now.

Maybe I'm picky and he is a very good player but he was too straight ahead and he misses a few of the signature style parts and vibrato that Vito hits. So he didn't nail it, he simply played it well. IMO. What's his name with the zebra guitar hits the nuances more and plays it better I think but that guy is a monster player of many diff styles.

Little Fighter is Vito's toughest solo to nail.

Agreed, that one has all sorts of guitar hero shit going on. Simply mazing. I also love his Radar Love solo, he's swinging all over that one. So awesome, too bad he faded away into obscurity. I guess he knew there was a timeline on that sort of music and style.

He injured his wrist and had to take care of his parents. I don't think it was a matter of just 'throwing in the towel'.

To me, he was as close to EVH in the style, swing, and technique thing.

In Tell Me there were a few parts he didn't nail just like the album, but then there are some overdubs on the album one guitar can't cover. The one that stands out the most is the octave slide Vito did, but this player did not, around 1:44. But that's so minor.
