I am saying the tone of the amp is fine, the guitar player, although I am sure he is a nice guy, isn't very good.

He said it himself, "it's very unforgiving". That means he is not very versatile and pretty much a chugger. Not a good player.

As far as the rest of the RT'ers, if you are a chugger, than no, you are not a good guitar player.
