I would love to see a picture of every piece of gear that is inside the Axefx II laid out.

My collection kind of looked like this in the mid 90s but then... kids. :)

The band I used to work for had a storage locker right next to the Eagles, and I thought "wow I bet they have some sweet gear over there!!"

So I climbed to the top of our storage locker to peer over the walls (they didn't go all the way to the ceiling). I got to the top and peered over and saw...

Nothing. Every last scrap of gear was covered. :(

A friend of mine got to see inside RIchie Sambora's gear storage for a few mins. He said it was like a mall of gear.

Looks like the average Rig Talkers basement/jam room to me.

j/k

That's what my wife thinks my collection looks like. 4 amps. 2 cabs.

We have all seen guys with amazing gear that can't play many times. There's a fella in town here that went out and bought this incredible Mesa recto/fender twin rig with all the trimmings along with two custom les pauls. He could barely play a pentatonic scale. I hate it when that happens.

I agree. I hate it as well. One of friends has a neighbor and he took a picture in his basement. There are over 35 different vintage Gibson guitars in there that he has on display. It's an incredible collection. He can barely play anything but loves the instruments. In the end, I guess it is what he likes to collect.

That is an incredible collection of amps. I wonder what the cabinet room looks like!

:)

Does anyone remember stevevht's amp room?

I was just thinking about SteveVHT. I remember him from a "long time ago" on HC and wondered whatever happened to him. Seemed like he always had a ridiculous amount of gear. I vaguely remember rack rig after rack rig of the rarest most coveted stuff of the 80s-90s. Guy easily had 100K in gear.

Granted if I started counting how much I've spent on gear...

That's fair I suppose

If only people who could play well were buying 2-4500 dollar amps, none of the makers that are worshipped on this site would be in business.

More power to 'em. They can always make more amps to sell to the "more deserving"

I'm not a good guitar player and yet give me some tastes...

Being a solid rhythm player is one thing, I am not saying someone has to be amazing to own amazing gear but the guy I referenced acted like he was amazing and yet last time I saw his band, he messed up "down" by 311 really badly which is a song my son could play when he was 9. Just sayin... I'm not being an elitist, I'm not incredible either.
