The only thing that seems not to be selling is 4x12 cabs as shipping is crazy high....
How much to ship a 4x12 now? Haven't sold one of those in decades..early 90's if I remember correctly..The only thing that seems not to be selling is 4x12 cabs as shipping is crazy high....
It cost me $145 to ship a 60 lbs guitar head from Arizona to MD ground recently. Imagine the cost of a 115 lbs cabinet. How much to ship a 4x12 now? Haven't sold one of those in decades..early 90's if I remember correctly..
I have decided that when I get old, and can't play anymore..I am literally going to give my gear away to kids. I'm going to find some kid who seems like they love guitar in a shop, or somewhere...and just hand them one.@panhead
Recently sold off almost everything I'd collected.
Figured 60 was a good age to do it cause I wouldn't have wanted to drop dead and leave all of it for my wife to deal with.
I say do it. Only keep what you use often and move the rest.
You're only a heartbeat away from having them all be gone anyway.
Good grief! If that keeps up it will become cheaper to make a road trip out of it. No wonder I've seen so many 4x12's with "P/U Only" in the for sale listing. It cost me $145 to ship a 60 lbs guitar head from Arizona to MD ground recently. Imagine the cost of a 115 lbs cabinet.
