I had the hardest time ever trying to find a iic+. I wanted a specific one, DRG, 105 transformer Simul class, factory original. My last one was 60/100 100 transformer and I loved it.

I was curious is after years of gigging and going through amps would change my opinion of the amp, for better or worse. It did. It even better than I remember it, and phenomenal in feel and tone. Feels perfect, has a ton of bounce and fluid playability, but is not what I would consider loose when you ‘hear’ it. In fact it can be setup for surgically tight note articulation and never feel dry or stiff. It is fluid beyond fluid, more like oil than water in its slick and masterful playability. Sustain arrives at whisper volumes and full harmonic content on the higher strings and far up the fretboard are distinct and unlike anything else. I recently listed my top eleven amps I’ve ever used and I put the IIC+ in that list, at the top. While it is in no order, it felt right to just...right off the bat, first and most obvious pick. Unbelievable amp. Here are some pictures and sounds.

Nice tone and playing!

And don't sell yourself short, champ. It's more like huskybagg or burlybagg.

Great playing man. They are all special amps, I've had them all except the one you have, a DRG. If you ever get a chance to get a C+ Coliseum, do it. They flatten tall buildings. Lol

Killer score no doubt.

I was a bit nervous, not going to lie. I’m in love, all over again.

I was considering a Coliseum when I found this one. I had been looking for a Factory DRG for a while. I had a 60/100 100 transformer years ago and wish I would have never let it go. I will say, I like the DRG better, and find the clean channel to be perfectly massive, tons of clear bottom and smooth brightness that doesn’t Baskin your ears. Channel one sounds like if you took a big iron old Fender and a Dumble and blended qualities. Much more Fender though. Drive? Mesa Boogie.

Wow, sounds great, very nice playing, and choice music selections!

I'd love to play all these different IIC+ power sections side-by-side-by-side. Holy shit would that be expensive.

Congrats man! These amps are some of the best ever built!
I do have a 2C (DRG, Simul-Class with 100 PT) that was upgraded by MB to 2C+, and it's one of my all time favorite!
By the way, just had the chance to watch the videos... great playing and tone!

If you don't mind could you share your clean channel settings? Also what tubes?

I think your clips of the IIC+ are one of the better ones out there on Youtube. I think it also proves a good sounding amp comes through fine on a decent cell phone cam without needing mics, mixing board etc.
