Does anyone else love toggelz on their guitar stuff like I do? It's tough to beat Carlos™️ loafers and a bunch of toggel switches on your guitar rig. Let me know how you feel in the poll, and in your post. May walls of Carlington switches and rooms lined with gold plated mini toggelz be yours in this world, and the world to come.

Blessings.:yes::yes:☦️ ☦️ ☦️ :cheers: ☦️ ☦️ ☦️:yes::yes:

Toggelz aren't just for pedals...

All in with toggles but not a ton of options (on a guitar).

Nonetheless, I’m stupid and have a question for the toggle gurus: can I install a strat super switch (2 poles) and use a mini toggle to completely eliminate the tone control on one of the poles, thus have my guitar wired, 1 hb 1 vol / hsh 1vol 1 tone (current), at the flick of a switch?

I’m aware of no load pots but I’m talking a completely different wiring scheme on each side of the 5-way with maybe even a stacked vol pot if nec?

I can't answer that as my electronics knowledge has been short on batteries since I was born. I'm going to page @griff10672 since he is the music maker and dreamer of toggel dreams and is adept at wiring stuff.

Basically, yes, you could use a simple on-off switch in the wire that leads to the tone pot from the super switch.

@Scot they sell golden mini toggelz, just in case you wanted to maximize toans with special coatings.

Without the toggles my toan wouldnt be tight, have bite, and have different clipping options

Thank you - super switch & stacked 500K's it is.

Nope - that precious gold is lost on me because I don't live in a coastal town and don't gig. But, I do have a gold plated directional guitar cable with arrows on it that I follow religiously to this day and that baby's never failed me once..it must be 20yrs old.

You guys are all addicted to switches, knobs, toggelz and buttons. I cant figure it out. Why?

Im not a man that likes choices, options or decisions.

Someone make me a one button pedal.
On/off i bet id have a migraine with that

@VonBonfire you could always add LED lights to this and a toggle switch for on/off. Maybe another toggle switch that makes them blink

I agree on a guitar, but my proposed mini switch simplifies things, no? (eg: hb 1vol).

On all other objects known to man with toggles of all sorts, surely you jest - toggles arguably make everything better.

Depicted below: on - pure metal / off - not metal. Then metal with concentric pots and a switch - same function: on - pure metal / off not metal. If I'd seen the pedal DanTravis shows above when I was like 11 or 12 yrs old, I would have fallen off my chair.

Damn, the Bich has one more mini toggle than the the Mockingbird does. Probably the dual preamp... View attachment 451544

Yep, it's for the second preamp. It's got a volume for the neck pup, too. Other than that, it's pretty much the same circuit, as are the Eagles. Warlocks and Ironbirds drop the varitone. At least those were the standard configs back in the early/mid '80s. You could pretty much get anything you wanted, though.
