Ya he has been awhile . I was shocked whej he switched

Shocked when he switched from a horrible randall tone to a only slightly better fortin tone? his tone with the EVH is very similar to his boosted 800 tone. The fortin version of his tone was thinner & weaker with less balls.

i thought his 800's were actually 2210's...? big gain difference in those..

no they were 2203's. and after the 2203 he switched to The Jubilee & then the DSL 2000 100watt, Then Randall, Then Fortin, Now EVH EL-34 100 watt.
