Top 5 "they don't make em like this anymore" albums

Sex Pistols-nevermind the bullocks, Motorhead-Ace of Spades, Slayer-South of heaven, Danzig=Danzig, Johnny Cash!! Too many bands today sound the same. There used to be different sounding bands and scenes , styles, etc in different areas of the country and world and now due to the web etc influences and styles can be copped overnight it seems, and they change with the wind. To many mass produced generic same sounding bands these days. Its part of the whole american idol "safe" whitebread rocknroll thing thats been created and eaten up by the public.

When you consider when it was released in '88. Danzig is pretty amazing in the sonic stand they took on it. Awesome album. Same with Cult Electric, also Rick Rubin.

Have to also mention Suicidal Tendencies first and the many punk/hardcore releases from the early 80's that are just amazing with a band going in and finishing an album in sometimes just a few days.

Also, is that your guitar in your avatar? Got any more pics of it? That's got to be one of the sickest tops I've ever seen!

Oh yeah, in addition to the fine list above, I'd like to add:

King's X - Dogman

Savatage - Gutter Ballet

Frank Zappa - Joe's Garage

Queensryche - Rage For Order

This thread has some great lists here. I could easily add many of the albums listed here to my list. Especially the King's X, Queensryche, Rush, etc....

Also find some things that have piqued my curiosity.... :D
