TORPEDO C.A.B.: Can I capture a classic speaker sim like a Palmer PDI-09?

Hi there,
I want to mix (parallel) a Palmer PDI-09 with an IR cab and therefore I wanna capture the Palmer with my Torpedo CAB.
Is that possible?

I have tried to imagine how you could do it, however I always come back to the fact that to create a static IR you need to be able to record the tone of the Palmer through a cabinet. So you will end up recording an IR of the Palmer playing through a speaker and not the Palmer itself. I don't see how you can do what you wish to do, and load an IR combining a DynIR cabinet and the Palmer cab sim.
