Tourmaster with MM PT

has any one upgraded thier Tourmaster with an Mercury Magnetic Power Transformer? if you guys have is it just drop in replacement? I had my amp fixed and put in a new Power Transformer in it, love the amp but still in the back of my mind that it will take a dive again when its time for gigging or in the middle of gigging.
 
there isn't one from MM for these amps.

they're proprietary.
 
they do now i guess its new heres the part# PT EG-TOURMASTER-P, check thier website.
 
I'd like to hear a comparison of stock to MM PT. I bet it doesn't different, but at least there's an option now, for those that are out of warranty.
 
same here, the sound of the Tourmaster is good right now with the stock no complains it will be a plus if there is, just need more a little bit of reliability than the stock and peace of mind
 
the part # is EG-TOURMASTER-P id' assume thats the power tranny, not the output as i was told that's proprietary to Eggie. i emailed them to find out..good to know in the future, as those output trannies are the ones that crap out.

Also, be aware we will not do torroids for audio and this is a normal EI transformer. (square)

we would have to ask bruce that. i wont even make an assumption, lots going on in there!
