that area brings back so many memories!
Tower Records Sunset Blvd was right there and i scored many a rate metal LP there. Wolfgang Puck’s restaurant Spagos was right up the hill from there where all the stars went to party after the grammys and oscars. Of course all the shows we saw at the Whisky and Roxy.
when i worked in music videos in the 90s the artists would stay down the hill on Larrabee and Cynthia St at the Le Duffy or Le Reve hotels just off Santa Monica Blvd and i would shuttle them around town.
i always used to wonder why Motown execs would put their premiere hip hop and rap artists up at these chic little hotels so close to the epicenter of gay clubs in west hollywood at Santa Monica Blvd but now it makes a lot of sense!

maybe LA city government should have spent taxpayer funds on infrastructure instead of being a sanctuary city providing millions of taxpayer funds for illegal invaders?

Glad to hear it! We moved to TX about 4.5 years ago. I'd be lying if I said I miss nothing about CA, but it's great here too, just very different.
