For the first time ever, here in the UK, we see a Water-boss dragged into court on criminal charges.
I’m hoping this will be repeated across the country.
We are literally swimming in shit.

my company is currently working on several infrastructure projects in Hawaii and just spent 3 yrs on a major utility relocation effort in downtown Honolulu. one major pitfall is poor documentation regarding old underground utilities and locating or striking active water/gas/electric/sewer/cable lines or ducts that were not identified on any plans.

a main break of that magnitude is a pretty disruptive event for nearby businesses and residents unable to turn on their water. HVAC cooling during summer heat, dishwashing, toilets, bathing—NOPE.

I’ve never heard of that particular act described as a pressure test before, but it is, in a way.

Was tailman on a daisy-chain gay pipe-laying crew. That was a big ass man! Was on the job when my 8” suddenly blew, due to excessive sphincter pressure. The film-director wasn’t impressed.
