So you replaced C1 or paralleled it with a 1000pF?

So I hacked a 500pf onto the back (just happened to have it lying around) and it certainly makes it more palatable...I may go look for a 1000pf in my stash to see if I like it better..if not, I can just solder that one in place of the 500+500 hack
