I am really digging it. The dual guitar lead is kickin!

I would be curious to hear what it would sound like using channel 2 for rhythm since it has less saturation and it's more in your face. Also, I have found that with quad tracking turning the gain down for each track gives it a more organic, up-front sound. More tracks, less gain (if thats what your going for of course).

Thanks man. My next clip will be a quick Obscura cover, so that'll be Channel 3, but after that, I'll probably do something a bit less metal and experiment with Channel 2 some more. I have a Channel 2 clip here, if you want to listen:

Now that is great tone! It doesn't get much better than that  Are you boosting channel 2 with the same pedal as the first clip? Also, what chorus/phaser pedal are you using in the short lead part at the beginning of the second clip?

Yeah, boosting it with the same pedal. It's mainly just a clean boost, and I'm not adding much gain (level up, gain down, tone around noon-ish). I used two different reverbs in the DAW (one Logic, one TC Electronic), and just some basic chorus in Logic for the chorus effect on the lead. Here were my settings on Channel 2 during that clip:

Gain - 2 o'clock
Bass - 10 o'clock
Mids - 3 o'clock
Treb - 3 o'clock
Pres - 3 o'clock

All my clips are at bedroom volumes.
