Being that I'm doing all the work for my band's CD, I would have loved to pick Anton's brain about how he does this or that. Stuff that could improve my workflow. Little tricks here and there on mixing. Tips on getting a good drum sound. Although as time goes on, I'm getting better with it. But I think the thing that I'm most jealous about is just being away from everything and being able to work on music and nothing else. Right now, I have to scrape together an hour or two here and there.
Either way dude, congrats!!

The thing that I love about this is that I was there when Shea played at NAMM and I got to see Anton's reaction to Shea and the band. The look on his face told me all that I needed to know and I knew right there that Anton wanted to do a record with Shea. Anton is such a great guy and you were definitely in good hands brother.
I don't say this to often but Shea's got it. There are guys who mimic Rock n roll and then there are guys who actually feel it. When you see Shea play you know that he is the real deal and not some poser.
I hope that this opens many doors for you Shea, and if it doesn't , at least you have and awesome experiance to remember...until the next one
All the best

First of - greetings, all you miscreants! So THAT is where you've been hiding out!
Secondly, Ralphie speaks the truth - after I got offstage with Ed at NAMM I was dead tired and ready to go home and hit the hay... then Shea's band hit the stage and after the 1st TWO seconds I was like "I gotta check this out!". After the 1st song I was saying "I've GOT TO make an album with this guy!", and it just kept getting better song after song.
As Ralphie said, Shea has GOT "IT". The whole package - the writing, the singing, the playing, the stage presence, the genuine Rock article... the uncanny resemblance to Kid Rock![]()

Seriously, making this album has been a HUGE BLAST so far, and the music reflects it. Can't wait to be done so that you guys and the rest of the world gets to hear this awesomeness!
