Trying the TNT LeTekro Boss BF2 Mids trick Video clip

Thanks donbarzini, you da man. I ran my guitar straight into my Duet totally clean on one track then same thing but with the BF2. After listening to donbarzini's suggestion about Match EQ, I discovered that not only does the BF2 boost aorund 800hz but it also cuts at 400hz and 1200hz. I created a patch in the AxeFx using the Marsha HBE amp block and sticking a filter, PEQ and, as well a BB Preamp block in front of the amp.
The gain on the amp is in the 3 area and the BB is set very low as well. The results aren't too bad. Just waiting for the video to upload and I'll post in a different thread.

crunch with gain boost on the pushpull

Has anybody tried this trick with the new Boss BF-2 Flangers? Is it the same, or do you need the MIJ version?

It works with the more recent (well, at least from the later 90's-recent) BF-2, as well. No clips, I just did a little tinkering when I got home. I might make a space on my pedalboard for it permanently... It also sounded best in front of a boost for me, moreso in front of an OCD vs. an FD2. With the OCD, I didn't hear any/much of that 'ring mod' sound some people heard. I heard it with the FD2, but not as bad as I was expecting from some people's observations.
