Tuner in FX loop

Anyone run their tuner in the FX loop instead of in front of the amp?

I tried my Korg Pitchblack through my loop (Metro zero loss) and seemed to work fine. Read tuning fine, still muted the guitar, and I didn't notice any change in tone for the worse. I may be dumping any boost in front of my Marshall so I really would just like to run the cord straight in. Putting everything in the loop makes set up easier and from what I can hear, sounds better.

Anyone think of any drawbacks or concerns running it this way?

I use my Boss tuner as a buffer for my out-front pedals.
I guess any pedal out front, unless it's true bypass, will affect the input signal in some way. I don't see anything wrong with what you're doing.
