So,
Anyone uses one for amps other than a Uberschall?
What can I expect tone wise.

I use Uberkab with my Wizard MTL2. It sounds great. It feels well rounded together . But it does not always work every amp I have .

I use one with all of my amps and for the most part, it pairs very well with all of them. You'll consistently get a tight and punchy low end with balanced mids and crispy highs. It sounds downright evil with wall of sound type amps (Rectos, Oranges, Uber, etc.)

My Diezels don’t take well to them . It’s odd . They sound scratchy . Weird highs. The Vh4 mostly. But most of my amps do sound good with it .

Yeah I feel the same way with my Stealth and Chupa, even with the 10 band in the loop.

I have a rear loaded one .
I don't like it with my Ecstacy or my Helios.
Been too long since I had my Ubershall to remember that pairing ?
I think it is the gt75's I'm not digging ?

Wish I had more to add, I have always wanted one, I would probably grab one in a second if it was a good deal and local...but that's not likely. That aside, 4x12s are just way too much money and hassle to ship anymore that buying a cab sight-unseen isn't going to happen. I would love an Uber cab...but unless I am actually able to play one in person there's no way. I am kind of insane for even posting about it, all it will do is fuel GAS, and I just finally got rid of my 4x12s, and would like to get rid of my 2x12s save for my Suhr. I have that and a headrush, that is plenty.

No. More. Cabs.

I have an older rear loaded Uberkab that sounds fantastic with pretty much every amp I own. The mix of frequencies V30s and T75s cover are great to get a balanced tone out of it and make sure that the amp shines through it IMO.

killer cab
i got one of the first ones and it sounded great with my eggie tol 100 and with mesas-worked with smoother darker amps. the 75s can be a bit abrasive sitting in front of the cab playing unaccompanied, but in a band/live setting those spikey frequencies really cut through nicely.

when i switched to my mojave peacemaker with the brighter/tighter marshall plexi voice, the 75s got overly harsh and scratchy real quick. thus it became a greenback/gh30/v30/scumback loaded cab and sounded awesome.

Great sounding cab. I have one, and under utilize it far too much actually. The 75s in them sound great to me, and arguably the best sounding cab I have with my driftwood purple nightmare. That amp kills with the 75s mic’d up, very very good. It kind of sounds….. high fi for lack of a better term to me with a lot of my amps. It’s not bright or dark, very balanced, good low end, but very high fi sounding in a good way to me. Big fan.
