Univibe type pedals

Do most of these vibes have the same increase in brightness when you turn them on as the microvibe? That is the one thing that I can"t stand about the microvibe.

I feel my Roger Mayer makes it darker sounding. I have never A/B with a microvibe. I have played on a micovibe ~ but it was always with other gear that I was unfamiliar with / not my rig.

I decided to go with vchizzle's rectoman Ubervibe. Before starting this thread, I was pretty convinced to get the microvibe, but its always hard to buy something you pretty much know you will want to upgrade (at least at this point in my journey).

I must say the clips of the Electrode Tube-vibe blew me away. I may have to get one someday. The price is just out of my range at this point.

I got the Ubervibe in and so far I am really liking it. The Chorus switch is kind of a thin and cutting vibe, very out front. the Vibe setting is thick and chunky. Overall the vibe sound sounds to me like my Phase 90 combined with a Tremelo pedal with a touch of wah thrown in.

I the the Ubervibe 3rd in the chain behind my Wah and Tuner. Still felling out the settings, as there are 4 tweaking knobs I haven't even touched yet...

Do you have the Voodoo vibe + or Jr? I notice on the junior there is a chorus/vibe knob, just curious where you run that.

I am going to have to work mine in over time. I am forcing its use at bit now, but its cool

I just picked up a Voodoo Vibe + and it is FREAKIN AMAZING! No phasey sounds....just pure, luscious throbbing goodness

Any of the Fulltone Deja Vibes if you want the Trower sound. I love mine!

There was no JR when I bought mine. One of the best pedals I have ever owned.

I bought off ebay about a year ago the Mo-Faux Vibe from Sweet Sound Electronics and I just love the thing. Not much info on YouTube for it however.... but it is a cool little unit.
