Ok, here's some logic for you. You equate covid masks to ICE masks. So, a mask is a mask is a mask. No difference. What about kids wearing Halloween masks? Are those different? If so, why? And doesn't that difference, if you admit there is one, also apply to CV vs ICE masks?

Yes but SWAT is generally serving warrants based around felony behavior or dealing with an active threat. Entering the US illegally is a felony. So explain how it's different. "It isn't" is the short answer.

The way he interacts, or rather doesn't, leads me to conclude that he isn't a very bright crayon. You are able to defend your talking points to some degree, JD just repeats what he hears on tv and his longest posts are him cutting and pasting someone else's commentary. When confronted with anything that contradicts what he says, he uses the laugh emoji, or just disappears from the conversation. In short, he's of little substance. If there is more, he doesn't show it.

Well if we want to get into the legal aspect of stuff I don't believe in anything but using Sheriffs and their deputies for law enforcement. Everything else in unconstitutional because a Sheriff is an elected official, and can be held accountable for his actions.

What's off base about it in particular? The border patrol didn't exist until 1924. The first "police" forces that weren't just slave patrols or watch groups were in Boston and NYC in the mid 1800's. There is no constitutional provision for them that I am aware of.
He chooses to be that way though, that's different from the way JD interacts. PIcasso could be a genius that feels it's a waste of time to try and debate past general insults and just does it as a time saving device. Since Sheriffs are elected, they have way more leeway to do what they want with less oversight, i.e. you elected me. That's not an implication that Sheriffs intentionally do bad things, it's just that they have a little more freedom if they haven't themselves become a political pawn.
Think about, when was the last time you saw any elected official held accountable? A nice example will be NYC and the pos mayor in a few years.
Police Departments, and the officers, are at the whim of every corrupt, incapable and just damn stupid mayor, city manager or city council member in the city they serve in. THAT, my friends, is why Police Unions are still a necessary evil.
