This is beyond cool on every level. I really wanted to a similar thing that Paul Gilbert does, but I don't have the cash or the chops

Was Wylde there to show you guys how to dress or play pentatonic scales as fast as you can? Pick Squeal!!!

Darren that is just cool as shit. You fucking ripped ass! I think I liked this one even better than the last one. Great Job!!!

Very cool Darren and you did great!!! I wouldn't even have the balls to get up there.

Great playing, that must have been an awesome experience. Big props and congrats. Must have been a little nerve racking getting on stage with Jack Butler

thanks! Steve is so cool, he makes everyone very comfortable regardless of playing level. that's why it works sooo good.

Awesome, Darren - I'm sure this was a great experience. I took private lessons from Steve between his Zappa and Alcatraz gigs at his studio in Sylmar and I learned a tremendous amount. Much of what he showed me to practice became part of his "10 hour" practice regimen.

Steve

now that had to be awesome!!

It's kinda pricey but I think I'd rather spend dough for experiences than gear these days, so money well spent for me I guess :)

Words of wisdom!. What a great an experience that must have been. You are a super talented yet humble player and that was a real treat to watch. Thank you for sharing.

thanks man, was a very humbling experience - especially watching Al Dimeola! lol

oh man that's the really cool thing. Steve and the whole dreamcatcher staff encourage everyone to get up there and jam. Steve and his band make everyone sound good :)

It looks pretty damn reasonable price wise considering the quality of the setting. It must be 200 to 400 a night for a room at that place anyway, especially all inclusive with meals. Regardless of the awesome clinic it sound like 1500.00 stay at the lodge... at least a grand.. Throw in a workshop like that and it seems like a bargain really!! How was the food? I may try to go next year if not sold out.

Thanks.

Jason

Nice man!!
This your 2nd or 3rd time jamming with Steve?
Love your vids. Steve had that look in his eyes that he wants to hire you for his band. :D

Fucking incredible man.

I think I remember the last one that you did I'll leave the same comment if I'm not mistaken, it is like you belong on stage with him.

Such good chemistry. It really seems like Via can just lead or follow anything, such an amazing player. Both of you kicked ass.
