Here's a quick play through of the Jotunn 100 in a mix. Killer amp!
Enjoy!

Thanks man!!Sounds good man!
Thanks buddy!!!Sick playing, as usual.
Sounds good!
Exactly. I really can't compare it to anything else I've played. It kinda reminds me of something like a 5150 meets Recto with a hint of Hermansson. But it's still totally different in the way it reacts. I don't hear much Marshall DNA in it. But man does it track great. Literally 0 EQ added post on those tracks. That’s super throaty. Definitely a unique tone. I like that it’s different and it stays super tight
@SBlue is the guy to answer that. I've only heard the Dover DA50 for a brief minute and thought they sounded nothing a like.@SBlue and @Shredneck what are the main differences between the Jotunn 50 and the Dover DA50. Havent played either in person and while there are youtube videos, there are so many variables that go into recording them vs people who have had hands on experience with both.
What are the main differences in circuit/tone structure? Any major differences in features?
Both amps, as you probably know already, were designed by the same person, Kee Mayer, who also worked at Hiwatt for 20 years.@SBlue and @Shredneck what are the main differences between the Jotunn 50 and the Dover DA50. Usually not lol

Anyway, the DA-50 was his original circuit, and it's very similar in features to the Jotunn 50, few exceptions are the DA-50 has a Depth control, while the JT-50 does not need one. Also, the JT-50 has 5 modes, with 3 sounds on the first channel and two on the second, since you have it's own internal boost that can be use on either channel.
Soundwise, the DA-50 is heavier on the low end, and very saturated, more like an old Rev G, or and early Uber, while the JT-50 has a super tight low end, with a very pronounced and clear midrange.
Both are great amps, but the Jotunn is a lot more refined than the DA-50.
