Huge 80's vibe with those guitars indeed; Steve Lukather & Farris, in particular to me.
I had a 24 fret sunburst model from the "golden era"; cool guitar, but the 24 fret smaller body format never really felt right to me.
I'd love to play one of the old early full body models.

I've always wanted a Valley Arts but never ended up with one. When I first started playing and was wondering what would be a good guitar, a guy I know who toured for years from LA said Valley Arts or Tyler was the best of the best.

They had a brick and mortar store in Cologne, Germany back in the 80s. I went there when I was an exchange student and got to play one of those Guild Brian May guitars. IIRC, they also some of the EBMM EVHs when I was there in the early 90s too.

They made a nice guitar, but we all know that Paul Reed Smith Private Reserves are far superior guitars. I think it would've been great if Valley Arts had a inter-company kickball game for charity against James Tyler with proceeds going to charity. Zion would be riding the pine.
