variable voltage regulator

Looking for one to use here in denmark since my power apparently shifts between 230 and 236. But i need one for 240 v. Does anyone have info to share what to get? And where to buy?

Depends on how good you need it to be. The only true variable voltage regulator that can automatically regulate to a specific, user-defined voltage that I know of is made by Kikusui. They're industrial/lab-grade regulators that cost thousands of dollars. Something like a Furman, even the high-end ones, can't do the same thing.

The Furman 1800-series regulator only regulates something like +/- 10 volts once line voltage exceeds or drops by a large margin. 230v - 236v probably won't be a large enough swing, even at 240v, for a Furman to actually do anything. That's what everybody who uses them misses. They are glorified surge protectors, not true voltage regulators.

I think there are cheaper voltage regulators that have tighter regulation if you look for media center or A/V units. But Kikusui is what all the pros use.

That's not a voltage regulator. That's a variac. You spin that big dial on top to raise or lower your mains voltage. But it doesn't do it automatically. If your mains voltage fluctuates, you have to manually adjust it. A voltage "regulator" monitors and controls fluctuating voltage automatically. A variac is fine if your mains voltage is either too high or too low, but doesn't fluctuate.
