Variacs...

Anybody tried a Wizard MC/Metal with a Variac to bring the volume down a bit?
I don't prefer the hotplate and I know there are better choices but does it work well at The 4 or 8 db setting?

Do yourself a favor and buy a Power Station. I had a Rockcrsher and it was good, but the PS is in another league.

I bought a power station and use it with my MC 50 and its a very useful tool and sounds great!
