My take on the G12T75 'evolution': The first version vented 75s ARE similar to a high powered GB, like they advertised. But, the following versions all lost some midrange with each change...the vents, then non vents white label are more scooped(but still have decent mids), then the black/white labels in 87-90 are more scooped yet, followed by the 91-today versions that are more scooped than before.Yes but......are they actually better?

If you played a vented version and A/Bd it with a brand new one, the difference in the mids would be huge.
I have a '83 JCM800 4x12 cab with G12-65s. I hope I'm not being redundant with these vented G12T-75s. My plan would be to put the 75s in a Bogner 2x12.
I couldn't tell if it had vents because MikeOx Huge had Oliver Klothesoff in the way.I'm no Sherlock Holmes, or John Holmes for that matter, but those are G12T75's and they have vents.
What did Heyward Jablomey have to say about this?I couldn't tell if it had vents because MikeOx Huge had Oliver Klothesoff in the way.
