:confused: Should've counted how many times I said "What the f*ck?" during that video.
 
I normally enjoy the Rig Rundowns, but that was just convoluted nonsense.

Listen to it. This is a great disc. They are a great band. Vernon's live tone still sucks. I've seen him twice now and he was on both times, but his tone sucked. He used Crate amps and the rest of his rig was like this shit. Doug plays like a motherfucker, but he is the Godfather of every badass bass riff you have ever heard. He gets a great tone, but now he does delve a bit too much into the effects to play with Venon, but whatever.

Apparently the last Meshuggah album guitar parts were entirely recorded with amp sim software as well (not sure if it was Amplitube or something else.

I thought the video was pretty cool in terms of what does what, and the possibilities with it all. Granted, they could just hire a keyboardist, and save a lot of headaches :)

Wouldn't an Axe-2 cover all of what he's trying to do with just 1 box and not that mess?
 
It's cool to try all kinds of new gear and ways of running it. Seems more like a clinic rig for the gear though.

Dirk is just a natural hottie. Not over the top pinup fake lashes bullshit, just a solid bod and cute face. The type of girl that wouldn't stress you out to date lol. Anyway, her interview skills and questions are actually improving every interview. Does she play guitar? She generally seems somewhat interested and asks very guitar oriented questions and rig questions I actually would think of asking. I thought she was just a pretty face they hired in the beginning.

Wimbish is the coolest bass player ever. His approach to pedals is great. Skip the crap with Vernon check out Doug.
