Anybody using them? I did a search and found that the general opinion of the P50 speakers around here is that they are total shit.
Just wondering about the cab though...are they built well, and do they sound good with other speakers? I believe they are front-loaded cabs, so if I bought one I'd probably go with G12-K100's.

Otherwise I'm going to pick up a Mills 212 or a Road King cab.
Basically this new 212 would be my "metal" cab
Also looking for something that tracks a little smoother than a v30

I also have:
-My recto 212 w/v30's. My do-it-all well (or at least decent) cab
-The Carvin 412 which will be getting a couple Scumbacks (I hope) around Christmas for when I get a more "Marshall-like amp" Anyway, NCD is still a ways away-just want the facts :)

I have one....They rock! The PB speakers are good. I don't know why someone would say they suck? The cab is damn tight but tracks exceptional. I did take out 1 speaker and threw in a Weber 1225. In 2x12s I like having 2 different speakers just for the reason of recording.

I like the p-50s myself. I had a krankenstein and a dual rec that sounded alright with a cab I had loaded with eminence legends but when I hooked a VHT fatbottom they both sounded monstrous. Just my 2 cents. Mike (headlessdeadguy) has a fatbottom with the p-50 under his 5150II and I thought it sounded HUGE.

I couldn't agree more Nate. That cab and the P50s FTW
