VHT power amps. A difference in different color faceplates?

I have seen some 2502 with red face plates and of course silver. classics with silver, blue, purple, and glass face plates, (I think) of course the black face plates that have the 6L6s so I know the difference there.

the question is this: are there any differences between power amps of a same model but with different color face plates on them or is it just cosmetic? thanks

no.

However, the black "2/56/2" (black beauty) comes with 6L6's instead of EL34's.

There are no clear ones, but it goes something like this:

2150 --> black, aqua Fish blue, Soldano purple, silver satin
2100 (classic)--> black, mirrored, silver satin
2502 --> silver, red
2902 --> silver
2562 --> black

thanks, that was just the answer I was looking for. by glass I think i was referring to a mirrored one.

The different colors were just for NAMM.
The 2/56/2 aka Black Beauty is only available in Europe. I have heard that there was only one or two in the USA.
