I've always done EB 25k mini vol pedal in my loop. No tone suck thru most amps, doesn't change the gain into the front end of course.

he mod's Ernie Ball VP's......love mine!! ZERO tone suck :)

This looks great! Unfortunately he is not taking orders for the time being it seems. The Mission VM-Pro seems to have very similar features for a comparable price. Anyone have experience with the VM-Pro?

I agree. I love mine. The first volume pedal that I have really liked.

Allot of time it's your loop sucking tone not the pedal.

Stupid question : what does a volume pedal, placed before the amp, do that rolling off the guitars volume pot doesn't do ? I've never tried a volume pedal.

It does the same thing but can be easier to do fast swells and such. If you're really good at playing while adjusting the guitars volume pot though there is no need for one. It's really a convenience thing.

Thanks. I suppose a volume pedal, still before the amp, but after an effects chain including an OD pedal can yield different results.

I presently use a T1M modded Ernie Ball - but had the opportunity to try the Vertex recently 0 will definitely be picking one up to replace my EB.

I was looking at this as well! I'm actually going to be picking up the Vertex Wah and was wondering how their volume pedals were. Glad to hear it impressed you. Currently the mission VM pro and this vertex volume pedals are the front runners.
