I'm a HUGE fan of (old) QR.

The music is so much more interesting than so many other popular bands; they really stood out.

Rage for Order was always my favorite and even to this day that disc sounds so "futuristic" I could never get my ears around the guitars...

Ran across this dude on youtube and spent the last few hours watching all those songs being ABSOLUTELY NAILED. His attention to detail is second to none.

Dig it.

I love that album, it was different than anything that was released at that time. I saw them 4 times on that tour, they were unbelievable live.
Degarmo absolutely killed.
We used to play that song along with a bunch of their other stuff....
It appears I was doing it wrong

Love that album! And Operation and Empire. Huge part of my childhood. sigh... :aww:

Screaming in Digital is still one of my all-time favorites...

I'd love to see London.

I regularly cite that solo as a great example of harmonizing.

Apart from "Walk in the Shadows" which is an amazing song, the rest of RFO is really boring and flat for me. Awesome playing though from that dude.

Really? Interesting. I thought the sound and production was "futuristic" as mentioned in the OP and I've never heard anything quite like it before or since. I loved it beginning to end. Great playin by the kid in the vid.

Yeah, maybe because I heard Mindcrime first, which is obvioulsly a classic and is amazing, it seemed dull in comparison. Just think, apart from WITS, that the songs have no interesting riffs or hooks and the majority are a bit plodding!
