Well, success!! Cool little mod. What I've found is that you can't push the mono speaker cable all the way in. You have to leave it a notch out in order to get the sound out of the jack. The headphone out must want to see a stereo plug. Anway, sounds pretty darn good and fairly loud as well into a speaker cab. I"m going to run some pedals into it when I have some time. Thanks OP for letting us in on the secret!!!

Might as well just replace the stereo jack with a standard mono one. Then again, it's not a tube amp so there's no risk of damage if the speaker cable pops out by accident.

Good point and may consider that!! Thanks.

Yeah, I replaced it with a mono out a few years ago.
I've actually just profiled the ms2 with its internal speaker, awesome tone for lofi sections etc

Cool. Wish someone would have mentioned this sooner! I was going crazy with a mono instrument cable going into a power amp. Just could get no sound. Didn't have headphones with stereo plug. Was driving me nuts.

I once made a 30 watt 70's Traynor head with 30 year old tubes sound metal with an 808 boosting it. So I'm not blown away here. I have the MS-2 full stack. Ran a gain pedal through it and jammed with a friend before.
