Washburn Parallaxe, anyone played one

Pulling the trigger on a new guitar this week. Was pretty much settled on a Sterling Petrucci model but came across the Parallaxe series from Washburn. Seems like a lot of guitar for the money. A couple of reviews, all good, but that's all. Anyone play or have one of these yet?

Ola's does,look like a lot of guitar for the $. I'm not a big black or white guy, but I'm seriously considering the white Ola model.

They look like the only Washburn I'd ever consider, other than a Nuno sig. They look really nice, IMO.

The last two comments are exactly how I feel about it.

For what it's worth, I was told the guitar feels a lot like an Ibanez neck wise.

Jason did a demo with one not too long ago. He seemed to really like it as I remember. Definitely looks like a fun axe!

Parallaxe series definitely looks awesome for the price, I really like the look and features of Ola's sig as well, although some people say they don't really like sigs. Which is dumb since so many guitar companies started as someone's "signature" guitar, I wonder how many of them play a Les Paul. Rant done lol.

Looks great, the blue quilt at 7 1/2 lbs. at Sweetwater for $899 looks like a deal to me...

Those are the Indonesian models out right now. The US Washburn models are out in a month or two. Just so you know, if it makes a difference to you.
