Why don't you just put me on ignore? You may think I go out of my way to engage you, but not in my view. You constantly post in threads I create, usually or eventually making it personal, even to the point of trying to preemptively ruin my rep with prospective trading partners. So yeah, I'll respond, and I'll trash talk too, but I prefer to keep debates about the subject matter. Regarding your request, I agree to not initiate personal attacks, but I don't agree to never responding to comments you make. But sure, in general I'll try to avoid you.

I suggest not so easily concluding people you disagree with are trying to manipulate or gaslight you. People just have different views on things, blindspots, biases and so on. I agree some people have nefarious motives but fortunately they're a minority.

Garland waited because they thought it would effect the outcome of the election more in their favor. If he had any chance whatsoever of winning that he would have done it sooner. Doing it sooner would have given the time needed for it to go to the Supreme Court where he would have been laughed out of the room.
