Why isnt heritage H150 or H157 being even mentioned when talked about an LP gibson and even historic ? When the guys ar heritage forum swears it totally replace the LP gibson

I've had four brand new Gibson LPs since '14 or so. Three of them were off the charts awesome. The four still was a very nice guitar but wasn't for me (it sounded waaaay fat and boomy, some people might really like it though).

I suppose none of them have immaculate fit and finish, but the fretwork was great and IME nothing exactly does was an LP does but an LP.

I have a PRS SC594. I've owned 6 LPs, and out of the 6, I would only want my '06 Standard back.

My 83' ibanez artist ar-30 is pretty beefy, a great guitar, not bad for a hundred bucks! It's like a Les Paul studio, doublecut.

My Gibson LP killer is a replica 59 Burst I had built over the course of 8 plus years.
It's got real PAF's from a 61 SG in it, no wire ABR-1 bridge, lightweight aluminum
tailpiece, Bumble Bee Sprague caps, .015 neck, .033 bridge. I put Grover tuners on it
so it doesn't slip out of tune like Klusons do.

There is no such thing as an LP killer. Gibson Les Pauls are THE classic guitar and remain a timeless masterpiece. However, the ESP Eclipse, PRS Singlecut 24.5" are fantastic alternatives. However, if you want something even more badass but will cost you at least one testicle, the Nick Huber singlecuts are absolutely incredible.

Beautiful looking build, sir!

I'd never want an LP "killer" since there are so many good ones out there, but guitars I like to check out that are "LP-ish" - Hagstrom Swedes, PRS SE & SC 245's, Epi LP's. I'd really lover to check out an Edwards at some point as well. That said, my Gibson RD's are basically a large bodied, flat top LP, so I'm not really wanting for a LP at the moment...
